Kirby/Dayani Wedding - Pictures

We hope you enjoy the pictures of our diecut leaves and custom ceremony programs that were created for the Kirby/Dayani Wedding. We love how they displayed both pieces and hope we inspire other couples to do the same! Thank you to this wonderful couple for sharing their pictures with us. Destination Wedding Invitation

Destination weddings are certainly a popular choice for couples. We created this wedding invitation booklet for one of our couture brides in 2007 planning a May 2008 wedding. The challenge for this invitation set was figuring out how to announce both the intimate wedding ceremony as well as a large wedding reception that will take place a couple weeks after their ceremony. We decided to create a separate invitation for those guests who were invited to both events. These guests received two reply cards, a unique invitation panel as well as a directions/accommodations panel to appropriately inform them on all the wedding events.

The wedding set was printed on Crane Lettra Pearl White 110# cover paper, Stardream lagoon 105# cover paper and a white translucent paper. The booklet cover is two color letterpress with a large palm tree motif and immigration stamp. The inside left hand panel holds the reply card(s) and envelope and the right hand panel holds the quote page, invitation panel and directions/accommodations panel. These three panels were secured with two eyelets. The entire set includes 1/8" rounded corners.

This invitation set is a Spark original design and cannot be reproduced without permission. Please contact custom@sparkstationery for more details.

Spark Couture: Cherry Blossoms

Cherry Blossoms! We love cherry blossoms because the detail of the flower makes for a beautiful design and letterpress impression. The above invitation set was designed especially for one of our couture brides planning a March 2008 wedding. The 4-piece invitation set was printed on Crane Lettra Fluorescent White 110# cover paper. Ink colors are fuchsia and brown.

Holiday Mailing

Here is a great example of design combined with letterpress printing for an unforgettable holiday mailing. The Carney Group in Minneapolis came up with the idea to send their clients a fun assortment of picture frames. They were all printed in 2 colors, and then we diecut each frame so the center punches out. The client even had us print and diecut a stand that was used to display the frames. French Paper's Muscletone 140# cover in Glacier (a pale green) was used for all of the pieces and it performed quite nicely on our Heidelberg Windmill.

Garden Center Holiday Promotion

Designed by Eva Hofer for Fresh Produce, this Garden Center holiday promotion was a successful and fun challenge for our shop! Dark green and silver ink colors were run on our cylinder letterpress and then diecut into tree garland by Moberly's Print Shop here in Sioux Falls. The tree garland then came back to us to be folded and shipped to our client. The quantity for this run was 8000!

Kirby/Dayani Wedding

We have designed and printed wedding stationery for the Kirby/Dayani wedding due to take place this weekend. The bride's family is from South Dakota, however the couple lives out of state. We had an initial consultation in person with mother and bride at our design studio in Sioux Falls. The remaining decisions and proof approval happened via phone and email without issues. Below are more details about their wedding stationery for their event.

Ceremony Program. The ceremony program is similar to the New Jersey Wedding Salon program except that we will be using different papers. The back cover is Stardream mars cover paper that has been diecut into a pretty shape. The front cover is Gilbert Esse pearlized latte cover paper that has also been diecut. The front cover is two color letterpress in gold and chocolate inks. The inside pages will be digitally printed with their ceremony information on cream matte paper. The program will be secured with Midori double-faced satin almond ribbon (3/8" width).

Menu Cards. The couple chose a diecut circle menu card on Stardream mars cover paper with gold ink. Their reception table uses primarily gold and cream colors for the linens, so the red menu card should be striking. The menu card will fit perfectly into the plate charger.

Place Cards. The mother of the bride fell in love with our diecut aspen leaves. We are using two papers for the place cards, Stardream mars and Stardream antique gold cover paper. The diecut leaves are hole-punched and set with gold grommets. We are providing gold organdy ribbon (7/8" width). Their wedding coordinator will inscribe the leaves and then hang them, using the ribbon, from tree branches. This should be a stunning fall display for guests upon entering the reception area.
